Lane’s Prince Albert apples; a culinary selection raised earlier than 1841 by Thomas Squire and launched by nurseryman John Lane c 1850

I’m researching the Lanes who had been nurserymen in Berkhamsted (c1780-1960) and competed towards Paul, Bunyard, Laxton et al by way of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
