Curious if anyone has had any tinnitus decision with using rapamycin. I took rapamycin for about 4 months, then discontinued for 4 months, and simply restarted. Stopped due to herpes on lip. Beforehand I had refractory tinnitus which appear to minimize with the primary spherical of rapamycin, after which recurrent once I was off. I only in the near past restarted at 4 mg then 6 mg per week, and planning to finish up at 10mg q10 days. Amazingly, tinnitus has has virtually completely resolved as soon as once more. N of 1 however convincing to date.

Glad for you. I’ve slight tinnitus in my proper ear, and reasonable tinnitus in my left ear. I’ve had this since childhood. Publicity to noise? I’ve had many advantages from rapamycin however sadly this isn’t one in all them.

I even have a trauma induced tinnitus in left ear and a slight tinnitus in my proper ear, most certainly from loud music on headphones.
I’m 1 month in my remedy and no enchancment in anyway. I don’t count on something to occur in my trauma left ear tinnitus anyway.
No enchancment right here both. On rapa one 12 months; 5-6mg/wk. Had tinnitus for years. 77 y.o.
A number of years I’ve been taking rapa and completely no change in my tinnitus.
